What does the IP67 waterproof rating mean?

The TMR-S8W is rated IP67. IP stands for “Ingress Protection” and was developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission, IP ratings indicate how well a product is protected against the entrance of solid or liquid particles such as mud, dust and water.

In IP ratings, the IP is followed by two digits. The first digit represents how well a product protects against solids, and the second digit represents how well it protects against liquids of varying volume, pressure, and temperature.

The first digit ranges from 1 through 6, and the second digit ranges from 1 through 9.

Track My Ride uses the latest generation GPS technology to acquire your vehicle’s speed, direction and location and is typically accurate to < 5 metres under a clear sky. We utilise the satellites from GPS, GLONASS and Galileo to provide the most accurate position possible. Your tracker will automatically connect to and monitor the satellites in view to determine where in the world you are and ensure you always have the most accurate tracking data possible.

Need to see where you were a week ago? What about 6 months ago? With Track My Ride you can easily replay your movement and tracking history turn by turn so you’ll be able to see exactly where your vehicle was travelling and how fast it was going. With automatic alerts you can let Track My Ride keep an eye on your vehicles, so you can focus on what’s important. Track My Ride is able to monitor many different events from your vehicle and automatically notify you when these occur.
