Network Coverage

National Network Coverage

Track My Ride operates on the national Telstra, Optus and Vodafone 4G and 3G networks (depending on your hardware model) to provide you with real-time GPS tracking. Please check the coverage maps below to ensure your intended area of use is covered by the network footprint for your hardware model. This coverage checker should be used as a guide only – whilst we try to ensure accuracy, factors such as building construction, local conditions and network traffic volumes may impact your experience.

If you’re driving in a blackspot or outside the network coverage area, your Track My Ride GPS tracker will store its data in its internal memory. Your tracking data will be automatically uploaded once you return to the network coverage area. The TMR-S7 can store 3600 points which is approximately 12 hours of non-stop driving while the TMR-S8 can store up to 400,000 points.

Despite what you might have heard, Vodafone and Optus have not announced a closure date for their 3G networks in Australia as of December 2021. Only Telstra has announced the sunset of their 3G network as of July 2024. For maximum network coverage, TMR-S8 supports Telstra, Optus & Vodafone 4G and 3G networks in Australia and roams across all 3 providers.
