App seems quite easy to navigate and use. A little harder to hide these in an obscure place the won’t be found by a car/caravan thief, as the need for power means they have to be placed where they can piggy back off a power supply somewhere, but a bit of creativity can come up with some ideas.Fantastic service and product. Has improved safety for our staff and community members from the moment the units they were installed.Was after a more permanent tracking solution for my WRX and the Track my Ride GeoBeetle was definitely the right fit :) I'm by no means an auto electrician, however direct to the battery as advertised and I was up and running in no time. No concerns with both GPS and terrestrial signal. Both the App (iOS for me) and web UI are both comprehensive, yet easy enough to navigate for both hardware and software settings, as well as tracking history and live view. Service was very good as well with prompt replies over facebook messenger (the week of Xmas), as well as quick dispatch. Well worth the cost for a more premium and permanent tracking solution.+2Very simple to install. Easy to use. Yun rang me right after I sent the email, he was so helpful, patient & he understood my dilemma. TrackMy Ride is a very easy to deal with local company with a fantastic product that I have tested many times and is true to form. I highly recommend the product. 🌟🌟🌟This is a fantastic Product. I've had 2 trackers on my cars for several years, and now also our phones. Reassuring to know where the kids are when they take the spare car. Helpful for my other half to start dinner when I leave work. I'm able to see where the cars are, how many kms they have travelled and look back to see what time they were at certain places. I am planning to order another TMR for a second vehicle. Using across six work utes and can track in real time on the laptop or the app. Set up was easy, simply plug the cable in and add the serial number to the system and away it goes. Love the alerts that can be set up for hours of use, battery levels and driving outside certain zones. The app works great and we can see where our staff are at all times or where the hirer is with the motorhome. It also tracks kms so I can easily see what car is due for servicing. There are also very handy reports in the app I can generate for past trips. Customer service is exceptional and they are always on the ball anytime we have a question. Had a small issue recently which ended up being a fault of the installer not track my ride itself but their customer service team were quick with their response and helped me right through to resolving it. Highly recommend.+0After trying a few different trackers over the last few months, none of which carried out their job! I came across Track My Ride and decided to purchase the unit. Fitting was a piece of cake with very simple connections with detailed instruction. I am very happy with this tracker so far. It is very accurate and updates position quickly. Highly recommend if you are looking for a reliable tracker.+0Absolutely amazing bit of gear! We purchased one for our spare car as we regularly lend it out to mates and family. It's good just to keep a eye out of where it goes and at what speeds as well as to keep have a idea of how many kms are on it to help us with the servicing schedule.+1As a qualified mechanic it was a very easy install and I can say that it would be easy enough if you have basic knowledge of a multimeter and how to crimp some fuse taps. The app is very simple and gives plenty of information the notification and geofence is awesome, would be a long stretch but adding race tracks to it for getting track times and telemetry would be a great standalone product. Would be awesome to intergrate this app into a home assistant automation to open my garage when I enter a certain range of my home One other suggestion i can give is maybe if it would be possible to have a larger internal battery incase the main battery is cut off or if you go on a holiday for a few months. Only had it in a few days now but I think it's a great item for a piece of mind, for as low as 12.50 a month you can't complain.+0Excellent to deal with, made sure everything was in working order multiple times to check if i was happy with everything,Tracking is not bad but reporting is clunky and limitedI first purchased the Track my ride hardware and subscription in 2013 when I was invited to show my hot rod in Sydney (I reside in Mackay north qld) The hardware has been updated a few times since then and my user experience has only improved even further! I run this equipment on my daily driver, hot rod and the trailer, Last year I utilised the reporting function to understand what 12 months worth of journeys for for daily driver looked like, understanding the average distances traveled and also some of the longer journeys was really handy for my tax reporting! Receiving text messages and emails when my hot rods battery voltage is low has saved me killing the battery on a few occasions! I would recommend this for anyone with a vehicle that is special to them, peace of mind that its location is transmitted should it leave your garage!+0Craig, Leon, Auren and the rest of the Track My ride team operate an exceptional service. Plans are reasonably priced. And an Aussie company!!I regret the day I signed up to their services They are useless. I don’t recommend them to anybody They take your money and will let you down when you need their help I spend most of my time now at home because I lost the contract with those who were the reason behind signing up to your services. They did not accept your reports. I was at position A, they established I was at position B. They won the argument that I was at position B and they cancelled my contract and now I am spending most of my time at home because I have no work. AND YOU DID NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT You kept charging me for the months that followed even though you knew I no longer need that service untill I called you to stop billing me for a service that was not needed. Next time do not respond in public otherwise FACEBOOK will be next I have the absolute right to express my frustration because you have no dignity. Because of your unproffessional conduct, that department will not take me in again, because they think my proof (that you supplied) is not credible as they think I charged customers money for a service I did not provide simply because they think I was not at location A as I claimed due to lack of GPS proof which you should have endeavoured to provide. I have been using this for a few years. I have also tried another brand that was recommended to me by a large car accessories shop, but there was lag-time...not like the one from Track My Ride. So when I needed to get a new one, I gave the shop my feedback about the one they recommended having lag-time. Of course I chose the Track My Ride brand....Love it...does exactly what it's supposed to do! Love the customer support! Great customer support! We have been using this product for a long time in our fleet which allows us to manage our crews schedulesawesome product that deliversWorth every cent. A few years ago, I purchased one of the cheepy trackers that are common for about half the price of the TMR-S8W Waterproof GPS Tracker (4G) I recently installed in my Jet Ski. I had no end of problems with it and 2G was turned off shortly after I purchased it, so it was a throw away item. Since purchasing the Track My Ride unit, I installed it and activated it on the web site and bingo it worked perfectly straight away. One of the criticisms of having a tracker installed was they flatten the battery. One of the excellent features of the TMR-S8W is you can monitor battery voltage through the app and website. After five days, the battery voltage was still 13 volts, and you can set an alarm when the battery voltage gets to 12.2 volts. I have had a couple of questions for the technical support team and the support is excellent. The other great feature of the Track My Ride system is the tracking cost $15 a month for a private person which is spread across three mobile networks so the coverage is excellent and can be purchased only for the time you need it which is fantastic for a jet ski that is used spasmodically. Spend a little more in the first place to get a massive long-term return on your added investment in this product.Program easy to use and informativeFantastic tool to track my trucks and update customers live on their deliveries. I don't have a business fleet; I just wanted GPS tracking for (initially) my HSV (pictured), as an anti-theft measure. I could not recommend Track My Ride highly enough. The support is excellent, and the team are great to deal with if you ever need to order a new tracker (as I did, when I bought a second car) or have questions about plans, tracker activation or anything else. I am writing this review after another great experience with the team today - I think this might actually be my second five star review for TMR. Other things I've found really useful are the website and phone app (both really functional and easy to work with), and the functionality you can program in with things like app alerts if the car exceeds certain speeds (great for parents wanting to keep tabs on their kids, or fastidious owners wanting to keep tabs on their mechanics), or if the car is disturbed while the engine is off. With this latter feature, I was able to identify my car had been bumped in the car park while I was at work, and was then able to grab the dashcam footage and identify the culprit (who obligingly paid for the repair). If I had not been alerted to the bump, I probably would not have noticed the dent until days or weeks later, by which time the dash cam footage would have been overwritten. Long story short, if you're thinking about GPS tracking for your vehicle or vehicles, you should look at TMR.
